NFL MVP odds: How the race looks before MNF
T-1. QB Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles (+300)
Last week: 2 (+300)
Hurts' odds have not changed over the course of the week. He had a bye in Week 10, and the Eagles have not yet played at the time of writing. Still, his odds were enough to enter a tie for first place when Mahomes' odds slightly dipped ahead of "Monday Night Football."
T-1. QB Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (+300)
Last week: 1 (+275)
Just like Hurts, Mahomes had a Week 10 bye and still is waiting to play in Week 11's Monday night clash. Even without playing, the reigning MVP's odds dipped over the course of this week. It's given the Chiefs' matchup with the Eagles some extra spice – the top spot in MVP odds will be on the line.

3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (+400)
Last week: T-3 (+600)
Lamar Jackson battled through an early ankle injury to take the Thursday night victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, 34-20, in a crucial game in the AFC North title race.
The 2019 unanimous MVP was 16-26 on pass attempts for 264 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 54 yards on the ground on nine carries (6.0 yards per carry).
Jackson and the Ravens travel to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers in Week 12.
4. QB Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (+600)
Last week: T-3 (+600)
With just six total points between the two teams in the second half, Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins outlasted the Las Vegas Raiders, 20-13 in Week 11.
Tagovailoa had a solid game in the box score – he completed 28 of 39 pass attempts for 325 yards, two touchdowns and an interception – and managed to stay in the MVP hunt.
The Dolphins head to New York in Week 12 to take on the Jets in an AFC East clash.
5. QB Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers (+1600)
Last week: T-9 (+4000)
Brock Purdy had the best game of his career on Sunday, posting a perfect passer rating as the 49ers defeated the Buccaneers, 27-14. It was the first time a 49ers quarterback threw a "perfect game" since Joe Montana in 1989. Purdy is also now first in the NFL in ESPN's efficiency metric, QBR.
The last pick of the 2022 NFL Draft completed all but four of 25 pass attempts with 333 yards, three touchdowns and zero turnovers.
The 49ers head to Seattle for a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Seahawks in Week 12.
